For me, up until HS, just about ALL boys I ever saw were circumcised. In 4th grade a new boy started at our school and rumors started that something TERRIBLE had happened to his wiener because "it had no head on it". (He had a foreskin, and none of us had ever seen one like that.)
Then, a few months after I started masturbating (and I was doing it daily) I noticed a dark ring around my penis and it was right where I was grabbing and rubbing my penis back and forth pretty hard with just one finger and my thumb wrapped around it. I thought, "Oh no! Jerking off is making a dark ring around my dick!! Everyone will know that I jerk off!!" I didn't realize this was just my circumcision scar!
So, I was actually almost 14 before I realized I was circumcised. In the showers in 9th grade there were many foreign born guys in my class that were uncircumcised and that's when I figured it out for sure.

When I was 6, I asked my mom why my cousin's weenie looks weird. That was when I found out I was circed, and my cousin is not. She explained to me the difference, and why it is done for hygiene reasons.
I didn't know here was a difference other than hygiene until I was 11, I found on the internet that there are differences in sensitivity. That was when I started to feel like I wish I was uncut, it feels better. And right now, whenever I jog, the glans head feels a bit weird bumping in the underwear. But I have gotten used to it.

When I was about 4 yrs old, my dad & I were hiking & needed to pee. We were miles from a restroom, so we left the trail & found a mound of ants to pee on. I noticed his looked much different from mine. I assumed his was bigger because he was bigger, but When he pulled back his foreskin to shake off the last few drops, I realized he had skin that covered his “peehead.” I asked if my penis would have that much skin when I became a man. He took a moment to explain the circumcision purpose.

I have much older brothers that are cut, but the American Pediatric Association supported cutting back then. By the time I came along, the APA did not recommend circ’ing. I was cut because my mom wanted mine to look like my brothers’

Now, I am restoring. Glans IS more sensitive.

I learned the difference in my 5th grade puberty talk/health class. I had never seen an uncircumcised boy before I learned about it and I just figured everyone's penis looked like my circumcised one. Since I learned about the difference I have seen a couple in the locker rooms that are uncut, so I'm glad I knew why they looked like that - otherwise I would have probably been confused why they looked different than mine
