Is she interested in me?

Hi,
So this girl and I became online friends a few months ago. We have may common interests, similar personality and other things. She has been out of a relationship several months ago, while in my case almost a year ago.
All details aside, today we talked about our ex love lifes and such. She pointed out some of my qualities she found quite likable and then asked me "Are you interested to be in a relationship?"
As luck would have it, I could not reply then because luck. A while later she texted me along the lines of 'Maybe you misunderstood. I was only asking XD'.
So, that's the point - did she just generally ask if I was interested in being a relationship with ANYONE or did she mean with her? Any help would be appreciated!:)

YES!!!! She is interested in a relationship! When you didn't respond she panicked thinking that she had scared you away. That's why she sent the next text. You're clearly interested in her. If you weren't into her you would have figured it out yourself. Good luck buddy!

NewLeafsFan is probably right and she just sent the second message because she felt stupid after you didn't reply.
I had a similar chat with my current boyfriend and all, so might really be the case.

Just asking will this be just an online relationship or can you be together in person, too?

Haha, thank you guys! I guess I'll confess that I'm interested in her, too.
And it will be a online relationship; we live in different countries (but close on a global scale).
