Is dressing up as the doctor from doctor who for halloween weird?

Halloween party, costumes required, not going to know many people, planning on dressing up as the 11th doctor (looking as attached). Of course people love it at the local comic con but I'm not sure what kind of reaction I'll get at a halloween party. I wanted to do something other than what you see all the time and that's also reflective of my interests. I just don't want to look like I just showed up way overdressed and out of costume

Sounds like you’re overthinking it a little lol. I’m sure somebody else will dress up as someone/something a lot more weirder and fucked up.

lol no. there are a lot more weird options out there. even if not many people are going as Dr. Who, who cares, if you want to go as Dr. Who then you go as Dr. Who
