I can only assume he meant the content of the dream rather the just the fact the dream was wet. Even then it is worth bearing in mind that our non-sexual dreams are not restricted to things we enjoy or would want to happen - some of them include things we hope will not happen in real life. I also asked the question a while back whether people found whether there was any pattern in the content of their sexual dreams that determined which ones became wet and which didn't and the consensus was that there was no pattern, it was effectively random.

So it is normal to have wet dreams and it is also normal not to have them. In general, the more often you ejaculate another way, such as by masturbating, the less likely you are to have them but enough guys report either abstaining a long time and not getting one or masturbating frequently and still getting them, even sometimes the same night, for it not to be as simple as getting full of sperm/semen and needing to release some.
