I think this goes here. Who has some good tips to fight procrastination? I'm really bad when it comes to procrastinating. I have a bunch of papers due in the next month, two of which I know will get put off, as well as a term project. I don't want to keep doing this to myself. I just so stressed with music I have to learn as well that I don't know what to do. Thanks in advance, everyone

Is there something similar for iOS? I'll try it on my PC but I'm also on my iPhone way too much

Well what I do assuming I have a couple of projects all due in a couple of weeks is spread them out. So for example on Monday I do a piece of project 1 for an hour, Tuesday I do project 2 for an hour and Wednesday project 3 for an hour and so on. Until it's all finally done, it also helps if your parents are constantly watching you , your grades, and how you do the assignment. That last one usually works the best. ;)

Well having them monitor me doing my homework isn't really an option as they're at work until the evening, by which time I've finished my workload for the night. But. I'll do my best with spreading it all out

Just make sure that you do an hours worth every night. But good luck I know it can be real tough.

Yeah, it is. As great as VT is, I'm overly addicted to it :/

Lol I think I am getting addicted too, maybe not as much as you are considering the amount of posts you have but still.

Well that's in over a year's time. But seriously... I don't want to leave VT as this is where most of my friends are, but I know I need to focus on schoolwork

I have no advice because I'm one of the hugest procrastinators... EVER.

Right now I'm pushing off research/writing an essay, reading some Shakespeare, doing math, cleaning my room, and taking a shower.
Computer time > everything else.

This sounds stupid and redundant, but just put your electronics in another room. Listen to "slower" music on your iPod, but turn off push notifications for apps. If you have to work on your assignments electronically, I might suggest going to the library. The environment helps me out.

Ethe14 pretty much said something golden there. Work just a wee little bit on it every day, maybe 30 minutes if you think that will suffice for the deadline.

I am a big procrastinator and well my advice is to just do it. Do it and get it over with, no matter how boring it is. That's what I do, especially on projects.
