How do I approach a random girl at a party?

Hi I'm new here, Im not the type of person to be talking to random people over the internet but i need some advice.
So Im 15 and I go to parties a lot you know its a normal thing to do for my age . At these parties there's always friends of mine and always some random people Ive never seen before and most of the time i don't talk to them and just chill with my own friends. Thats pretty much it. The only thing is that at these parties there's always at least one girl that I've never met before that I will every so often find looking at me and when i turn to her we lock eyes for like a millisecond and I quickly turn and pretend that i was just looking around them room completely ignoring her. I mean I would ignore this random chick if they were unattractive but most of these girls are really attractive and so its hard to ignore them. We'll exchange looks quite a lot and sometimes this random girl smiles at me but like I said I completely just panic and pretend to not even notice her at all until one of us finally has to leave. And every time I always regret not talking to them or not even asking for their insta but I honestly dont know how to... so can anybody give me some advice on how to approach a random girl ?

Making eye contact like that is a sure sign of someone being attracted to you. So you already have that going for you. If it were me, I'd walk up to her and introduce myself and get to know her a little. If you have a decent conversation, ask if she wants to get together another time for a walk, coffee whatever. If she says yes, make sure you get her number.

Learn some "magic" tricks. There are a ton of them you can learn for party-like scenarios on the internet. Just do a few and do not explain how you did it. Don't try to be cool by drinking, smoking or doing drugs. What I learned from experience is that girls like guys who have control over themselves and the situation they are in, so if you do crazy shit while shitfaced on alcohol or drugs, you will look like a loser. Also I heard that kissing a smoker tastes like licking an ashtray.

Now for approaching her... Well, it's going to be weird in either way. The only thing you can do is make it the least weird possible. A simple "Hi, what's up?" followed by a quick introduction and hitting up a random topic can be a conversation starter. Start about how do you like the party etc. Talk about somethiing random and when you get closer, talk about yourself and ask her about herself. It's a sign of interest.

If you get rejected, don't forget, she's just a random person, you didn't really lose anything.

This above advice I agree with. It might not make anything any easier, cause you will still need to make a move.
Way I see it is when one of these girls are looking at you and smiling, just mirror what they are doing to you. Don’t look away, look at them in the eye and smile back.
You might be surprised, she might approach you first making that easier.

And just say “hey I’m (insert namee here) you caught my eye and wanted to say hi”

Would probably be pleasantly surprised how she’ll reapond. Then just be yourself.
