hello first post here and this is a bit of a question sorry
so here is the story... i am a 17 year old boy turning 18 December 26th... NOW i ask that in reading this story that you who are reading this do not judge me...i know ALL about car insurance, my age, and prices because of my age and the car i get... but ill put it to you this way... my first car i only had a couple weeks recently... was a P.O.S... 1997 EXTREMELY tired...Pontiac Grand AM v6 SE...so i wanted a Camaro not a 2017 or 2018 yet but i wanted one...i really wanted a 2013 RS package but me and my mother went to just about every dealership and each one said no to us including the 2011 basic Camaro i found but the bank saw it as something could go bad with how many miles it had and its age... plus i only had a $250 down payment and my P.O.S...and my mother doesnt have anything bad on her credit just not enough of it in general... right now i have a 12k a year job if i get my usual 50 hours atleast per paycheck but as soon as i am 18 i plan to work at the job my mother works at making around 24k per year starting and its really flexible so thats without overtime... so recently... i got a 2016 Nissan Versa 35k miles $350 per month (oh and by the way my insurance for both cars the jeep we have and the camaro... 460 a month... now with the jeep and Nissan both being 4 cylinders its 414 a month...thats why i didnt mind and wanted the Camaro since i have to be on the same insurance policy since i live in the same house...) now im thinking about this job and i know with it i would like to take advantage of the pay and buy a REAL car... i would like to pay this one off... the Nissan then trade for a 2013 Camaro with a GREAT down payment... then pay it off and trade in for a 2018 Camaro with a great down payment and pay it off then i was thinking of saving alot of money and buying another dream car and get a 2018 Corvette Stingray... i figure all this year im gonna build credit with these cars and be saving money in time...so why not while im not being bombarded with tons of bills like living on my own just quite yet.. here is the catch... i want to go and live in Japan i want to go to language school for 2 years... and then college for another 4-6 double major in Mechatronics Engineering and Robotics Engineering... so...in total... my financial plate is full $13,000 Nissan principle pay off 15-25,000 Net Price 2013-2015 Camaro plus Nissan trade in then $45,000 Net price 2018 Camaro $63,000 Net price 2018 Corvette Stingray if i just pay off my Nissan and get the 2018 Corvette and Camaro thats approximately $120,000 then 14,500 for 2 years language school and however much college is and also living expenses in Japan.. my dad thinks if i buy any car i should buy 1 of the 2 so i can help my self start saving for Japan... but with that this is the problem im facing... all other costs and such out the window just the cars...Corvette i get to own 1 of my dream cars and ITS A SUPER CAR a SPORTS car...but more expensive...the Camaro...much more affordable... and more room still get the throaty engine sound which i want... and what im thinking is i love the halo headlights of the RS package...so im kinda thinking get a 2013-2015 RS package SS trim...pay it off then get the Corvette so im not paying as much...DO YOU SEE THE PREDICAMENT IM IN HERE... i want a good car like these 2-3 i have written here... and i would love to actually work for them and pay for them...no daddy and mommy rich parents co-sign NO i worked for it MYSELF and i OWN it... so yeah...i guess that is everything i had to say it was just so jumbled in my head if someone can somehow read through everything i wrote and tell me what they think without being an *** i would be very grateful im just not sure what to do here...i dont mind going to Japan after i have paid for atleast 1 car that i want im just not sure how to proceed with this predicament
