I have no idea where this thread would go. If it needs to be moved, feel free to move it. I was just wondering if anyone else here feels like this. Today in English, we got paired up in groups and my partner keeps playing on his phone. I was stuck doing all the work. When the teacher asked me if my partner was contributing to the assignment, I told her, "I'm almost done with question three." I know that has nothing to do with what she was asking, but I just couldn't bring myself to tell her my partner wasn't doing anything. The English teacher was a substitute. The substitute said that every group should have at least five questions done. I only got three because my partner wasn't doing anything. I have eighth period resource class with my partner and he told me to make sure I get the questions done. It's not even homework because we're supposed to finish it in class tomorrow with our partners. I don't want to do it because I don't want both of us getting credit for something that I did.

Well you were just pared up with an a-hole/B (Not gender specific partner?).
I know what you mean, I wouldn't be able to tell the teacher that too.
Can't you simply convince your partner to do some of the work too?
Or make some kind of deal with them?

Yeah, I just have this problem with feeling like an asshole when I tell a teacher the truth.
I can't make a deal with him either because he says he won't do it.

You're just too nice! :D
You should find some way to force him to do it, lol.
Maybe you can indirectly tell the teacher;
like make it clear that it is all your handwriting,
and try to casually sneek in that he didn't do anything

I'll tell my teacher tomorrow at the end of class. Hopefully, she doesn't give him points for the worksheet.
