Welp, to be honest if he's straight and you're gay AND he has a girlfriend, I recommend just doing your best to move on. I know it sucks, but you cant force your sexuality on others.

Just pull him aside and tell him you just want to be friends and if you did something just apologize if you haven't or again. Give it some time to if it just happened, he could still be processing whatever happened.

Same thing happened to me.
Everything has gotten a bit better between us. He talks to me now, cause he's in one of my class. And it was really awkward last semester, cause we had gym, and we both still had a rivalry cause we had gotten into a big argument, but now he actually talks to me.
Time will fix things. It took almost a year for me and him to start talking again.

I'm not bi, but from a straight person perspective, if I love a girl and that girl has a boyfriend, then I don't really have a choice to let go. If you want to stay friend with him, you need to make sure he knows you don't have intention to be intimate with him. You'll have to prove it it's fine for you just to be friend, and that's it.

I'm in the same situation too and it's not easy to get out of.. except for the fact I haven't fallen out with my friend yet.

I always hate being asked which person in the class I want to kiss, but it's even worse when the person I want is the person who asks me the question :| I just had to tell him "Don't ask me that because I don't want to disturb anyone"

I would say "Try to move on" but then I would be a hypocrite. I have a friend that's a girl that I have a good chance of going past friendship with but I'm actually avoiding that myself. I'm not ready. I haven't made any advances towards either of them but as soon as he asked me the question earlier I got an erection and had to walk away right after he asked it and sit down :L
