ICE concealing immigration reports; Trump's "reasoning" for ending DACA

The ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is now concealing previously public records on its immigration investigations & enforcement.

This comes after Trump & Jeff Sessions revealed they will be the ending the DACA program and deporting over 800,000 Dreamers over the next 3 years.

Here are a list of FACTS


Dreamers have an incarciration rate of 0.98%, while foreign-born people have one of 1.12%.
So they clearly aren't the "drug-dealers, rapists, & murderers" that Trump would have you believe they are

Dreamers have an employment/schooling rate of 96% rate, so they certainly aren't "lazy".

Jeff Sessions in his announcement claimed that "DACA denied jobs to hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing those same illegal aliens to take those jobs"
(Basically claiming they're stealing American jobs) (Funny how they Conservatives can do a doublethink, and believe that immigrants are both lazy AND stealing jobs)
There is absolutely no evidence that Dreamers are stealing jobs from Americans.

In fact, ending the DACA program will actually HURT our economy; costing us as much as $280 billion dollars.

So even if you don't care about the hundreds of thousands of lives that this will effect, you can at 'least' care about your own economy and jobs.

There is not a SINGLE good reason that DACA should be ended.

It's just Trump and Sessions trying to look productive. They have made no noticable improvements in immigration or lawmaking so are trying to cover their asses by going after another president's hard work and attacking children, as long as it makes them look like they're 'tackling the issue.'

Of all the horrible things that have been said and done by the Trump administration this is really the worst.
I was at an anti Trump rally at the beginning of his administration in my hometown and it was predicted there it would come to such things. It's sad that things really turn out as bad as it was feared there...

If you work hard you can accomplish things even if you come from a poor or bad background. This is what the American dream used to be about and lots of those (illegal) immigrants show it is still possible.
On the other hand there are people who rather blame their own failure on others and start hating on them instead of doing some hard work. Those are the Trump supporter who felt America can be made great by hating on people who are different instead of working for a better future.

Just sad where our country is heading.

Oh I know, I really shouldn't be surprised. It wasn't more than a week ago? That he pardoned a known racist, committing an act of racism.
But this is big, he's actually going to deport hundreds of thousands of people, mass deportation. This has got to change at least some "on the fence" Trump supporters. (If there's even any left after all the stuff he's done already)

He got rid of the Paris Agreement.
He got rid of the Trans-Pacific Trade Union.
He's still trying to get rid of Obamacare.

He doesn't care about the implications of what he's doing, he just wants to undo anything that Obama did. He's trying to appease his loyal base no matter what the cost.
He really was right. He "could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and not lose voters". He knows how blind and ignorant his followers are, that's what he counts on.

It's the worst thing he did this week, but not the worst thing he ever did. It's in top 10 with things like climate change denial, almost starting a war with North Korea three times, Pussygate, Muslim ban, Trump university, asking Russia to hack Hillary Clinton's email and admitting obstruction of justice on TV, ect. So it's maybe 7th or 8th worst between asking is supporters to assassinate his opponent and Nazis are fine people.

I've heard so. It's just that he doesn't actually know that or care.
He also said that the Paris Agreement was a "bad deal" for America. Even though America determines who much money we put in, there are no requirements, and no consequences.
