Problem with skype

So, when trying to add my skype to my VT profile it keeps saying invalid skype name even though it's 100% the correct one.. I think it has something to do with me not having an actual skype name (I signed up with my email). Any way to fix this? O:

Edit: Tried it with a : too, VT still says invalid skype name.

Since it isn't technically a "Skype" username you probably won't be able to add it in that field. Is there any way you could make a Skype username and associate it with that account?

Nope, tried that too ~ skype changed their policies and you're now essentially FORCED to sign up using email
