My girlfriend went to the health clinic today because she has been having a few problems with her implant.

When she came back she told me that she had a bunch of tests done to check for STI's, bacterial infections and stuff like that.

However she said she isn't sure what the results will be. She swears that she has been faithful throughout our relationship (over a year) and if she does have something then it would be from before we were together.

Im sure that some symptoms would have shown in one of us by now if it was from before. Just looking for some advice, facts and input.

Also, she knows that I'll be reluctant to stay with her if she has anything so suggested not showing me the results, bit fishy for my liking....

Please remember that some STI's can be caught/contracted through non-sexual ways. Remember that. It depends on the STI.

It isn't the case that the signs may have shown by now, because some can remain silent for a long time. Also, if she does have something that can only be caught through sexual activity, yes. You and her need to have a good talk. Get to the route of it, but never ever assume that she's cheated without anything to back you up.

Some STI's can be caught by simply sitting on a public toilet (excuse my disgusting reference, but it's true)

Ok yea, but that's the exception. 1 out of 10,000 people get that maybe. It's not a norm, so you don't need to say that.

Did you also know that if you have a cut on your arm for example, it could get infected and you might need to cut off your arm? Guess what, it's "true", but who cares lol. Same for the public toilet STI, who cares, are you just never going to go to a public toilet just for that? :what:

Yes, you're right. You don't avoid public bathrooms for that, and it does depend on the demographics and whatever. I just said it as a far stretch.
