For the sake on my sanity, can anyone tell me if they gained any weight or lost any?

And like, if you did gain some extra flab, did you lose it quick?

When I was younger I was a pretty chubby kid, when i started getting older I lost a lot of weight and stuff. It's very common to lose/gain weight relatively quickly.

I actually started to put some weight on recently. It's not much and I'm not worried about it really. Maybe it will change

from what i know, it could be two things, you either get taller... and then that makes you look thinner, or you gain muscle, which is heavier than fat, so you gain weight. from experience when I grew to my huge final height of 5'7 lol i thinned out after being a chubby lil boy.

I'm probably at the end of my growth spurt and I still have a body shape, but I'm definetly getting some more fat than before (I can't see my ribs anymore, and I'm starting to get a tiny bit of a tummy, despite my skinny legs)

I too have gone from stick skinny to plumpy in 1 yr but do feel good about it....Ttill I was 16 I used to be really stick skinny until ..then suddenly I started putting on weight....It was really embarrassing, everybody saying "you've put on and patting my tummy and alll...I was devastated, I wanted my washboard abs.to show off at beach...After much thought i saw...this is normal weight gain of grwoing up. I gave up dieting I did not gain further.....my waist went from a skinny 26 in to healthy 32 in....I now weigh 64kg from 48kg at 5 foot 10....I now go to beach...go shirtless...my tummy may not have rips it had earlier and may be shiny and plump but that is the normal....I even go skinnny dipping (i do not strip nude...I keep my briefs on).....added advantage is my butt which was non existent before has now grown to be a really cute bubble butt...my GF loves it too........I met my GF also after I stopped being skinny.....I do think that I will put on some more when I start my freshman year (Freshman15!!1) but I feel it will round me up a bit and feel no apprehension but kind of look forward for it...(partying and food and stuff too!!!)

I put on weight but this is from a more complicated reason...

The stresses of high school and the fact I was starting to have meetings with therapist(?) people after my parents were contacted by an old teacher that was worried I wouldn't cope in the different place (because I was in year 6 at the time and... I was doing terribly) caused me to be stressed more and I began to eat a lot more because of that. I went from 10 stone to 16 stone within a year and a half and since then 4 years later I'm 3.5 stone more than I was back then... I've slowed down but I'm still having problems I can't sort out in my head so it's going to be hard for me to stop and go back down, I managed it before to go back to 16 stone from 18 but then I got stressed as I was in the last year of high school and obviously in the stage of exams and choosing which college to go to.

I'm pretty sure your weight can change a lot from growth but mine is completely down to this. I don't think doubling your body weight like I have down to a lot of stress can be blamed on puberty...
