I recently made a thread in my diary that would fit very well in the Tech Junkies Paradise. However, I refrained from posting it there, as I believed that it'd be more active and easily managed in my diary.
I want to keep it there for now, but i'm wondering should I ever want it moved, could a mod import it to another forum, or could I cross-post it while not breaking any rules.

As a moderator in your diary, couldn't you move it if you wanted to? I don't know if that would work, though. It's just a suggestion.

I can move the thread by simply copy and pasting it. Anyone can. I just want to see if it be moved to avoid deleting replies, since it's a discussion thread, and without breaking any rules about spamming.

If it's in your diary, if you go to thread tools and select "move thread", you should be able to move in anywhere on the forum. Or you can report the thread and a staff member will move it for you. :)
If you really wanted to duplicate it in TJP, there's theoretically nothing stopping you, although I don't really understand the point in that.

If you wanted to keep all replies yet have the thread open in two locations you could use the 'copy thread' function in the thread tools at the top of the thread.
