I feel similar. I'm much happier with having people who are less close to me seeing me naked. I think it's something with the parental relationship, not necessarily just that they're adults.

Not weird it's perfectly okay. I think it's interesting because in my family we are basically nudists so seeing everyone naked is an everyday thing, with my bros and dad it can be chill because we are all guys but even though it's chill with mom there are occasional moments where it can be hint of "shyness" usually it's more from the angle of her and she's commenting on how developed or mature me or my bros are, she's seen me hard and said "wow! My parents were divorced when I was a little girl and both have remarried. I alternate living with my mom and my step dad as well as my father and my stepmother. I would take a shower in my parents' bathroom if my brother beat me to our bathroom (which happened almost every night), so my parents (more so my mom) would see me naked almost every night up until I was around 13. Until that point I didn't care if they saw me naked for those few moments. No one in my family has seen me naked since then. Me & my brother usual do sleepovers with our friends (most of the time at our house, sometimes we go to their house). A couple of my friends aren't very bashful and I see them naked sometimes if we get in that kind of mood and it's late and after my parents have gone to bed. I'm not really comfortable with people seeing me naked, but if one of my non-bashful friends get naked I will either flash my dick or get naked for a short while to make them more comfortable. But few people have seen me naked (partially or completely) since I started puberty.

Some people don't want their parents to see them naked after going through puberty, especially the parent who is the opposite sex. My brothers and I have been skinny dipping in our parent's pool for as long as I can remember and none of us care if our Dad or Mom sees us. In fact, sometimes they come and sit out by the pool while we're in it. I've seldom seen my dad naked but it's not uncommon for my mom and me to change in the same room together or lay out in the pool topless. Even around the house I am often just in a pair of panties and when it's hot I don't put a top on until I've cooled off. We're not nudists but we don't have any hang-ups about our bodies or nudity. I think it all has to do with your family dynamics and comfort level with seeing each other. I have friends who would freak out if their dad saw them naked and who would freak out seeing their dad naked but that's ok too because that's the norm in their family and in their house. I entirely agree. And the fact that no one would bat an eye at a mom going in with her son of the same age.

I wonder how this incident has affected the girl's ability to trust men. Here she was told by an authority figure, a person who had more authority than her dad, that her trusting him was wrong. Depending on many other situations, and how close you are with them, etc. My mum would probably comment on any form of body hair, or my size which I would find even more uncomfortable than her just seeing me.
