Trent Hodkinson Takes Terminally Ill Girl To Her Formal
Newcastle Knights playmaker Trent Hodkinson showed yet again why he's considered one of rugby league's nice guys.
He took a 15 year girl with terminal cancer to her school formal last night at Kurri Kurri High.
Trent held Hannah Rye's hand as they walked into the event and they cut a cake in front of her classmates.
The school moved the event to July because Hannah may not make it to the end of the year.
Hannah, who's a massive Knights fan, suffers from terminal Ewing sarcoma - a cancer found in the bones or soft tissue.
