We've had issues for, like, forever. I'm always obsessing about him and initiating talks and making plans with him.
Recently, though, we got into a big fight because I just felt like I couldn't deal with his crap anymore. I told him everything I felt and thought, that I can't keep being the one who cares so much. A few days before that fight, he had called me and said he was coming over. Three hours passed and still nothing, so I asked him what was up and he said he'll be there soon. He never showed up. The same thing happened TWICE after that incident, so that's why I just exploded at him.
Anyway, his reaction was so plain and annoying, that I wasn't even upset anymore. In fact, he was the one mad that I make everything a big deal. I'm sorry, but if you're making plans with me and you never end up telling me you're cancelling because you had to make plans with ANOTHER PERSON, then yes I WILL MAKE A BIG DEAL OUT OF IT.
A week passed after our fight and I was feeling great that I had him finally out of my life. I felt like a person again; I started a new semester at college and things were looking up until Thursday night when he texted me and told me he's leaving on Saturday to Brazil, for one month.
I went back to being unconfident, sad and weak. We had a pretty "good" goodbye last night. He said that he was glad I came over to say goodbye and that things are okay between us again.
But now, he's about to board his plane in 2 hours and I am very, very anxious. I'm suddenly feeling very sad that he's about to go off and have a beautiful month and I'll end up wondering during those 30 days whether or not I should talk to him.
Things are not "perfect" between us like they used to be a few weeks back. That's why I'm confused as whether I should (or CAN) talk to him while he's over there, y'know just ask him how he's doing or if he's having fun.
Sorry, just needed to vent. There's also a very small possibility he might end up STAYING there, but he says that that's not possible. Wow, that would just be great, wouldn't it? Pfft.
