my penis has been smelling bad lately, even though i wash it every night and after i masturbate, which means at least once or twice per day. the smell mostly appears towards the end of the day, when my penis remains unwashed for quite a few hours and it's mainly located on the head. everything looks normal, no abnormal colours or textures. i've also noticed the same smell between my toes when they sweat and my saliva when my mouth is dry (which makes me think that it's probably not an infection). my eating habits are as healthy and as balanced as possible (i haven't changed anything since the smell appeared). do you have any ideas what could be the reason of it and how i could avoid this?
please excuse me for all the nasty details...

It's probably just because you're going through puberty and your body is changing in sometimes unpleasant ways.

U may have an extreme perspiration
prob that could b just ur body chemical
makeup. I would suggest that u wash
more often and at least once a sit down
bath with a body wash like Axe or Old
Spice and then dry urself thoroughly and
then apply a powder or spray like Gold
Bond bout twice a day. If u still have an
odor that bad it would b good to c ur
doctor in case there is some other prob.
Make sure u apply an antiperspirant-
deodorant to ur underarms also.

Showers, body wash or nice smelling soap, clean undies, deodorant, and after all that I've seen ads for body powder (Gold Bond brand I think).

This just means you're in puberty. Your penis is excreting odors and it should be normal. Uncommonly, there is fungus growing that produces the stench, but it would be itchy and you could see stuff growing on it, so you'll be fine!

It's just overactive sweat and oil glands. Your hygiene sounds good, just keep it up. Any odor will fade with time, usually before a few months go by. It's just puberty.

Meh just has to do with all the extra hormones producing oils and BO and stuff. Not much you can do except make sure you get your shower every day, or even twice a day especially when it is hot outside or you've been sweating a lot.

Make sure to shake off every bit of piss when you pee better yet wipe your penis dry with toilet paper or wet wipes. Even small amount of urine can cause foul odor when left on your penis or underwear. Some ToppCock hygiene gel can also help keep your genital area clean and fresh all day.

I never heard of TopCock so I Googled it. Wow, actual products marketed specifically to make our dicks smell nice!! (Maybe I should ask my mom to buy me some???)

Getting smelly is something we all have to live with. It happens to me usually after doing sports or other kinds of exertion. But good hygiene and taking a shower gets rid of the bad smell.

That isn't normal, are you showering daily? if yes, then there's probably an infection or other problem.

I would guess that it's from normal perspiration. Are you uncut? If so maybe you aren't getting all of the inside of your foreskin clean enough. That is all I can think of.

I think the answers from everyone about changes in body secretions due to puberty are probably right. Testosterone level in a 14 yr old can be 1587 or more. A normal 22 yr old male is about 600. So- your testosterone can be causing overproduction of secretions, just as it causes your genitals & body hair to grow.
One other thing to consider, according to Dr Dad, is a low grade fungal infection. Basically, athlete's foot & jock itch. If this is the case, then uncircumcised guys need to apply anti-fungal cream, lotion or powder as bit longer. Before the uncut guys start claiming bias- fungus loves a warm, moist, dark place to reproduce. How would you describe the "living conditions" under a foreskin?
Dr Dad:
-You don't necessarily have red, itchy, flaky skin with fungal infection. Smell can be an early indicator
-Wash/rinse feet & genitals twice daily. DRY THEM VERY WELL (a blow dryer is great)
-Wear clean underwear & socks daily- these should be "breathable" No nylon. cotton, or new fabrics are best
- Put your socks on BEFORE your underwear. Why? So that your undies are not dragging fungal cells from your feet to your crotch
-Fungal issues most often arise in the hot, sweaty, summer months, like July!
If the smell bothers you, ask your doctor- they've seen these conditions & can culture for fungus by wiping a cotton swab on your feet or scrotum.

Probably just excess sweat. Wash it on a regular basis as opposed to after you masturbate.

Are you cut or uncut?

It sounds like it might be natural, maybe for now just cover it up with a nice scent until it goes away

How do you know it is your willy? You can't get your face close enough to tell. Could it be that you just have jock itch?

Think I'd practice better personal hygiene. Like bathing after you masterbate. Washing that area better. Sounds like you may be uncut, retract, rash, release. Wash between your toes more and better. And drink lots more water
Just my opinion
