Hey guys just have a quick question. I have pretty hairy legs, I started getting hairy legs when I was like 11. At first I was really self conscious about it because I was the first in my grade to get leg hair but I really wasn't an early bloomer otherwise, I just looked like a little kid with hairy legs :D anyways as other guys started catching up it became less of an issue and now I like it... But anyways, my question is... Guys seem to get hairier as they get older, right? But, as weird as it seems, and maybe it is just me... But do older guys seem to have smoother legs than young guys? It seems like older guys have way more facial and chest and even arm hair...but it seems like one area where teen boys have grown men beat is leg hair... So I guess my question is...is this just my imagination or has anyone else noticed this as well. Do men just naturally lose leg hair? Do they shave it for some reason after a certain age... And if I am not imagining it and they aren't shaving... Why do men like 30 or 40 or older lose their leg hair? Lol hope it doesn't happen to me, looks a little weird haha

Men lose leg hair along with all the other hair on their bodies

But its weird like I see a lot of guys losing it on their head and legs but other parts seem to get hairier, like even nose and ear hair which is just weird lol and they never seem to like lose facial hair or even arm hair. Maybe I'm just nuts though

funny i was just thinking about this recently cuz I've noticed the same thing. Maybe leg hair isn't as course or dark as other body hair. But i just started wearing this kind of tight pair of slacks (i unusually wear loose jeans) and it looks like the hair on my thighs is getting rubbed off when i move a certain way, like bending down in them. Maybe leg hair just gets rubbed or pulled out from friction easier than anywhere else?

Yeah man maybe that is it... Jeans and a lot of pants seem to be made of coarser material and rub more than shirts do... I wonder... Maybe someone who is from the south where shorts are a year round thing wouldn't have that problem... I am from Ohio so long pants are definitely a must in the winter... Well for most guys anyways...some still wear shorts no matter how cold it gets lol. And yeah since you bring it up, my leg hair really isn't as dark or coarse as like my pubes or facial or even the little bit on my chest... I have a ton of it but it is more of a medium brown, so its a little weird, like in most indoor lighting my legs look more like a normal amount of hairy but out in the sun they look like monkey legs haha.

Well some men like my dad he is in his late 30's and he still has all of his leg hair so maybe it's because some creepy older men shave their legs or maybe it falls out naturally

I too think it falls naturally. As with the hair on your head. Not sure but I think pubes "last" more than any other body hair.

Ur right. All through winter when I wear jeans
my leg hair seems not as hairy cause of the rubbing
of my pants. In summer it grows heavier cause I wear
short pants.

Most older men do loose leg hair. Like after 50 or so. Don't know why but they just do for some reason.

I have never thought about this before. But it is true.
My dad (age 42) has more chest and facial hair than me but his legs are less hairier than mine.

I am going to ask him tonight if he used to be hairier when he was younger

Hey dude did you ever find out about your dad and his leg hair? Just curious to see what you found out. I kinda think that my dad has less hair now than he did when I was little but we don't really have the kind of relationship where we talk about that kinda stuff. Yeah its weird the only area he has more hair than me is facial, even on his chest he just has random nipple hairs and that's it, not even a trail

You lose hair in the winter. Primarily because one tends to wear pants during the winter. The hair rubs off.

I am the hairiest guy in my family. My dad is smooth and my grandpa is smoother than my dad. I think I shave my leg hair when I started puberty. Now it is long and thick. I hear from people it is the second puberty for older men. They loose hair where want hair and grow hair in place they don't want. Lol

I did talk to my dad that night. Sorry I haven't shared that earlier.
He said he had never thought about that too but he believed his legs were hairier when he was younger. We even went through old pictures and true. His legs were hairier than now.

Yeah, hair is lost all over the body over time. I have my father easily beat in leg and arm hair, while his chest is hairier. Just the way genetics worked out. I'm a pretty hairy guy in general.
