Why do people put their dick to the side in their underwear

Just curious what are the advantages of putting your dick to the side in your underwear. Wouldn't your dick just point straights out / up when you have a boner?

When you get a boner and your dick is pointed down it can be VERY obvious and VERY painful when it's going down your thighs (especially if you are wearing loose underwear like boxers and tight jeans like skinny jeans). There is NO where to hide it, everyone will see it! But if you angle it higher and you get a boner, it's easier to reach in and adjust and point it up to your waistband where you can hide it.

Some peoples point in different directions. For me tucking between my legs is comfortable. For others it's in their waistband and others it's most comfy in the side. Depends on where you're positioned and where it goes when hard

flaunt ur junk and ur big u position to the left
or right. I think the logical way is to hide it under
the waist band of ur shorts or pants.

When I get an erection in public sometimes I try to push my boner to the side of my underwear so it's less noticeable. Doing that feels better because it can hurt if your dick is restricted

Its just more comfortable for some people. Like mine goes down to the left or up to the left depending on how hot it is and how breathable the underwear that I am wearing are. But when Im hard it goes up or out depending on the fit of the jeans or shorts Im wearing

I was used to point mine down, but since my balls and penis grew a lot it doesn't feel comfortable anymore. So now I point it to the left. Now it has more space and it is better when I get a boner. I never point it to the right because that doesn't feel good. I don't know why.
