I'm 16 years old, have excessive leg hair but barely any arm or chest hair, and I want it to stay that way. When does chest and arm hair usually start getting thick and long and dark?

It really depends on the person. Some can have visible chest hair at 14 or 15, some might get it as late as mid to late 20s. It also depends on your hair colour. If you have dark hair it's more likely they'll be visible quickly.

Yeah that starts to grow around 16 I guess. Im 17, I have a little chest hair but mostly stomach hair. The hair on my arms is short but is gradually growing longer over time I have noticed. Its just a gradual process, unlike leg hair which seems to grow rather rapidly...

Yeah my leg hair came in first, like at 11, and fully developed at 13/14, seems like legs pits and pubes are the first places to get hairy on most boys. I started getting a trail at 13, some nipple at 14, and actual chest hair when I was 17... It started in the middle of my chest, and now it is spreading up and across my pecs, and my trail is above my belly button too, and some hair is starting to spread on my stomach. Strangely enough, my arm hair is light and not real noticeable, and I do have to shave my face some but I don't have a full bread I could grow a goatee and sideburns but the rest hasn't filled in a lot yet.

It depend on person. I shave my chest, leg and hand that why I have bit hair on those part. Like my dad and grandma, they are smooth.

I'm 15, and except for maybe a few little hairs around the rims of my nipples I have no chest hair at all yet.

It started about 17 for me. On the question of arms, I think if you wear short sleeves most of the time the sun can bleach that hair in the same way it does on the top of your head whereas we tend to expose our legs less so the hair there will tend to be darker. There is also the thing that androgenic hair tends to be darker than normal head hair so that could affect arm hair colour too.

I started getting hair on my chest at about 15, but getting hairy legs really, like 13 maybe. But I think it's different for everyone.
