I'm cut. Mine is pretty much the same color as my shaft when I'm soft, but when I get hard it gets a darkish reddish purple.

When soft mine is sorta darkish purple and the "rim" (I guess you'd call it that, the part where the shaft and the head connect) is pinkish. When i'm hard it gets slightly more reddish.

Depending on how purple it is, that sounds normal to me. Obviously I can't see your penis right now, but my penis' head is a pale purple, and takes on a darker shade when it is erect.
