I had the opposite problem, most of my friends shave so when they found out I didn't do anything to my pubes they asked to see. I showed them my pubes quickly and it was a horrible mistake.
Since I'm quite hairy and have lots of pubes, they started calling my names like "jungle dick" and now loads of people know. I just can't believe they are mocking the natural body

I have not shaved, and people haven't noticed. Although for people like me who wear compression shorts on a daily basis the "itching" can be annoying, although I have gotten to the point where I don't feel that anymore.

My grade is small af and the guys are pretty terrified of talking about that stuff, so not really. The only time that people see my junk is if I'm sending pics, and it seems that people aren't really picky. Personally, I just shave so that my pubes are a small area around my dick rather than all over my pelvic area. I also shave around the top of my thighs just bcs my legs are hairy af and it frustrates me.
