So, I have a GCSE Application Form and in it I have to type a 500-word personal statement, telling them; Hobbies, Interests, Part time jobs, work experience, special clubs, activities, sports, music and why I want to study the subjects (History, French, Computing & Business Studies).

I have a slight problem though. I've never had any part time jobs, work experience, I've never done anything music related, I do no sports and my only interest is GTA V *facepalm*. I can't think of anyway to start the statement off either so I'm kinda stuck.

I'm looking for advice from people that have done one before or are doing one atm. Thanks!

These forms are all very general - just listing examples of what might be included - so you can concentrate on the why you want to study.

All we had to do in my school was choose an option and we got put in to it... o_o

I should have chose french instead of history, might have got a D instead of an F then :D
I've never had any part time jobs and my crappy school actually got rid of the work experience scheme because it was costing too much money or something something I'm not sure of. I was even able to tell them which certain teachers I wanted to be in the classes of, because I only liked certain teachers for the subjects (performing arts, geography and history) that I chose for mine. I don't think I ever had to write a personal statement

Are yours the whole day on Wednesday and Thursday too or split across the week?
