Okay so long story cut short I had a major relapse a week ago and cut myself pretty bad in the same spot over the course of a night.. It's been a week and although the cut doesn't bleed anymore it seems to be taking forever to heal itself.. it's not a small wound at all and I don't think it's infected... any advice or help about this? :(

Relapses are horrible  Deep cuts do take a very long time to heal, and the scars may not fade for years. Aloe vera gel or chamomile tea can help to make the redness fade, and the soreness too. You could also try using some kind of foundation or concealer to cover up the scars if they don't fade.

As long as it isn't bleeding and as long as there isn't sticky puss like substances coming out from the cut, you can take care of it on your own. However, if you think it is genuinely deep you may want to seek medical assistance. As for it taking ages to heal, it will most likely take a couple months depending on severity. Keep it clean and cover it with a gauze bandage.

Okay, well I don't think you need to go to your doctor about the cut unless it gets infected, which you should be able to prevent at home. If it's no longer bleeding, then it's probably going to get better, and the most important thing is to keep it clean. Keep it bandaged - wear loose clothes to cover it up if you need to - and wash it every day if you can. Be very gentle, either use antibacterial soap or the salt method (try step 2 on http://www.wikihow.com/Clean-Navel-Piercings) and watch out for any warning signs such as pain, puss, swelling, redness, heat or anything stuck in the cut.

Make sure you do those things and you should be safe from infection, your biggest physical worry. If it's big or deep then it'll take a while, perhaps even months to heal and fade, possibly leaving a permanent scar. There are a whole range of things you could do to make your scar fade more - google it! - but just be careful. On one hand you want to start soon to get the best effects, but on the other hand, you don't want to infect or slow down the healing process of your cut, because that'll leave a worse scar.

You said that this was a relapse. How'd you stop last time? Have you told anyone about your cutting? If you did it once, you can do it again. I know from first hand experience how much it sucks to cut, how much it gets into your life. You don't have to do that. You can move on from it.

If you're concerned about your health, you should ask a doctor rather than a forum.
Doctors are supposed to respect the doctor-patient confidentiality agreement so you shouldn't be worried about your doc telling people who don't know about it.
But I have some scars that date from August and I guess it just takes its time.
