So this is kinda related to a previous question I had but it's different... lately I've been noticing that along with a lot more horniness I've also been getting b.o. when I jack off. I'm a pretty clean person, and when I start jacking off I smell 'fresh and clean' but like halfway through my armpits will get sweaty and I start getting a little b.o. Maybe it's just cause my face is closer to my armpits when I'm in that position, but otherwise I almost NEVER smell myself, even when I'm playing sports bc I use deodorant. So is this normal? Anybody else get this? Is it just the surge of testosterone/hormones?

I personally have not experienced this but with puberty and hormones comes body odor and is not unnatural to get when you are sweaty and active. If it bothers you, try trimming your armpit hair which will help to lessen the odor produced by the bacteria of that area.

I shower every morning, and when we have sports practice I also shower at school before I come home. I use deodorant after every time I shower - at home or at school, and we have a laundry chute so there are no dirty clothes in my room.
But - My mom is always telling me that my room "smells like BO".

I think it's normal. I used to share a room with my older brother before he moved out, and when I entered the room after him I could tell from the smell in the air whether he had masturbated or not. Sounds like its a pretty normal and natural thing. I think its the increase in pheromones and that is what you are smelling and not a B O. Your senses become more heightened when you are aroused and you pick up on things that you normally wouldnt otherwise.

The purpose for the body emitting pheromones is sexual attraction, but it would only be evident to the other person if they were in a sexual way, too.

The same here. I develope this distinctive smell less than one hour after showering, no matter how much I wash.
I have a personal distinctive smell in my armpits too when I don't use deodorant, but it's a different smell, and actually I like it.

This sounds exactly right to me. The whole purpose of the new, oilier sweat in our armpits and crotch that we get from puberty onwards is to spread pheremones and that smell should not be unpleasant and I think it would be this that would be noticable even an hour after showering and, if a girl did notice it during sex, assuming you've got that far it's likely she finds it a turn on rather than a turn off because pheremones are part of the attraction process.

There is another smell which comes from bacteria, the ones that normally live on the skin, feeding on that sweat and that is the nasty smell which is what most people mean by BO but it would take a little longer for that to develop.
