anyone else start puberty late?

Hey everyone Im 17 years old and i just started puberty....I barely have hair down there and my privates havent grown so I'm smaller (especially soft) then everybody i know so its really embarrassing

I just feel really alone in this especially since all my friends and family started when they were 13 or 14

So did any of you start puberty late? did any of you start way behind from their family members too? i'm asking because i wonder about this and I want to hear from somebody else who went through the same...am i going to grow down there? or am i stuck? am i going to even catch up?

Some people continue to grow into their 20s so don't worry. Give yourself a few more years.

My friend looked like he hadn't started puberty until this year (he's 17) and he barely has any armpit hair and a super light happy trail. I doubt he has a ton of pubes either.

Ye, Im a late bloomer. Im 13 y.o and still no pubes is a family thing so we need to wait dude you still have time. Don't sweat that much and btw who really cares about your size. I dunno you, I'm gay and I like small ones !

I had the exact opposite. I started early, so I was the hairy monster when getting changed at swimming. No one else knew what I was going through, and I didn't understand what was going on (or had a peer to talk to) to the extent I'm now seeing my peers catch-up and even now grow taller than me. I know we're at polar ends of the scale, but I do know that weird feeling of being "out of kilter" with our peers. Your time will come and you will catch up.

Yeah...thats how I feel...embarrased. I told another guy that he shouldnt worry about his soft size on here once...but the truth is thats what's bothering me the most. Its bad because i play sports and i like to swim but my family and friends see me naked when Im changing and I just want to hide whenever I have to change because Im so behind everyone else in puberty ):

Personally i started earlier than most. Puberty starts at different ages for EVERYONE, regardless of family members. It's perfectly normal and eventually you'll be at everyone else's stage in puberty once your body is ready. :) Hope this helps.

a friend of mine started at around 16, now he is 19, he grew a lot between 17 and 19, now he does look like an average teenager his age ;)
