I doubt its visible, unless you look really close. It's only 2 or 3 hairs but how long would it take for more to appear? I don't want to have a super hairy body (the only reason I even noticed them in the first place is because my hair is dark), so should I shave the 3 that I have?

I've had two or three barely visible ones for weeks, if not months now, with very little further growth. So if I were you I wouldn't bother shaving it off quite yet

well does your dad have a lot of body hair? that is usually an indication of how much you may get. and when the time comes and you want to shave it off, then go for it. or if you want to keep it do that too. i have some of my body hair off at times (not always the legs, but it depends), because I got enough compliments for doing so. some people though love keeping it. right now it doesn't sound like you have much. do if you don't plan on keeping it in the future, it doesn't hurt to have it off. then again, it doesn't hurt to let it grow some and then you might decide you want to keep it after all

Isnt waxing more useful?

it can be if it is done right (but that would apply to shaving and most things in general). it can make the job last a little longer than simply shaving would, but it can certainly the more painful route to go

Shave it when it becomes too much for you

I felt pretty self-conscious taking off my shirt when I started getting chest hair. You get used to it. I don't do anything about it. I like it now.
