Practicing something is a valid use of resources. If you decided to learn how to paint, to start with you'd be using materials and not producing anything worthwhile, but the practice would still be important.

As I have said before, I think everyone should practice putting on one when you're relaxed and have the time, with no pressure, so later when you really need one and the pressure is on, you know what to do. Having got it on you may as well masturbate with it on and then you can practice taking it off again.

I'd agree that doing it regularly is a waste of a condom, though, as you're not going to make yourself pregnant or give yourself an STD. Also, for me, I'd prefer to feel my hand directly touching my dick, watch the cum spurt out freely and feel it land on my chest/stomach. But, as Jamie says:
