Public showers question, yet again

So basically I'm going to this camp in the summer and it looks like there'll be communal showers... I was wondering how can I just get used to them, I'm pretty straight yet it's Sod's law I'll get a boner. And I just don't want that to happen lol. Any advice to prevent this?

Getting use to them is more not caring what others think and confident with yourself(remember everyone's small or big but not size till hard). I'd say go to the pool or gym/school and shower in the open there. Don't wash/play with yourself as much as you do at home less touch less stimulation less chance of boner. Your are not the only boy thinking about it and won't be the only boy that gets a semi boner or boner others will too. just don't be one that makes fun about others cause it will happen to you.

It happens until you get used to it. So experience it in other communal showers first. The key is to be thinking about other things. Try to focus your energy on preventing a boner is going to cause you to get a boner.

nothing to worry about dude. guys get erections in the shower sometimes even if they're perfectly straight. it happens. many of the guys there are going to be showering with other guys for the first time too. if you want to get used to it, go to a gym or something that has communal showers. but really, just go in there and do your thing. try to concentrate on yourself and getting clean up (that is what your there for). you are going to see other people and other people are going to see you. but yea man, this is nothing to worry about.

if anyone does give you crap about having a boner, turn it back around on them. make a joke or say why are you so concerned about my junk. like I said, many of them will have the same concerns you do. some will have already done this before. it really is going to be such a small thing and after the first time or two, your going to see it is no big deal at all.

Well i went to 2 camps one before and during puberty. The first was overcrowded so they had set times for each cabin to go as a group. Now we could've run for swim trunks and a couple guys did. But it was like a mile to the water change area. So it just depends. Now when i got to the shower area and saw how old and unprivate it was, i kinda wanted to run to get my trunks lol. But seriously after like 2 minutes of this you get used to it. It's def awkward at first though. You all saw each other naked and how taboo that is and you're trapped in a cabin together still. But agian you get used to it

2nd camp we had a lot more freedom to shower whenever. It was still very old and communal but if thats your setup, you can sneak out at like 3 am and shower alone if u really want

Everybody in the showers will have the same anatomy as you, and any interaction you have with them is the same as it would be if you were clothed. You will get use to it faster than you think. If you get semi don't worry about it. Most guys will ignore it. You prob will not.

Talking to a buddy helps while showering and it is distracting so you don't think about getting hard. Don't worry about it. Most guys are in the same boat as you.
