puffy nipple

so one of my nipples is always puffy and i don't know why. i would talk to my doctor about it, but whenever i go to the office it is never puffy. are anybodies else always puffy or is it just mine? could this just be a part of puberty?

There's a part where ur nips get rly puffy and sensitive. It lasts not extremely long. But once it's over it's over. But they're annoying when it happens. It's puberty tho

I had that problem before. My left nipple is puffy but my right isn't, so I looked for a solution to this because when I would go to the pool or anywhere else. I wouldn't take my shirt off or I just wouldn't participate because I had low self-esteem . Back to the point what you (may) have is gynecomastia. Which is caused by a hormone imbalance of testosterone and estrogen. Which happens around puberty. Most people have this so you are not alone on this. When I looked online for a solution, I seen one website where you have to build muscle in your chest with different exercises like pushups, pullups, and etc. So I did that and it gotten a little bit better where you can't tell the difference. But the last resort would be surgery. Hope this helps.

Puffy and sore nipples during puberty is
caused by hormones. I have the same prob
once in awhile. Usually it will go away by
itself.

One of mine gets puffy sometimes, it get pretty sensitive. Even my shirt rubbing on it makes it sort of hurt.

Back in very early 6th grade both of my breasts developed tender, sort of rubbery areas inside my skin that felt sort of like large grapes when you ran your hand over them. I remember being scared that, even though I had a dick, was it possible I was actually a GIRL?? (I think they started that way for maybe a year, then went away. But never got any bigger.)
