i still do it :) i started doing it about two years ago when i was 15! as long as both people are consenting to do it and are safe (like, don't share a nude with your face in it etc) i dont see the problem

I find kik is a really unreliable place for stuff like that. People can fake pics as well as it being easier to lie about who you are and how old you are. Other apps like sc are betetr for it.

Its not bad if you keep identifying things out of it. Hopefully most people cant identify you by what your dick looks like unless your parents and all your friends have seen it often. kik is probably safer than snapchat as i believe snapchat is linked with your phone number usually but im not an expert.

I never used kik to trade pictures because I think the other side can save them (and also screenshot, obviously) but I use other platforms and am always cautious

The real danger is photo exif information that is stored and embedded into every image you take and send. If you leave GPS on and send a photo, it is likely the phone saved your real GPS coordinates into the photo. This is how services like Google Photos can Identify where a photo is taken. Sadly, some services don't strip this very private info when you send the photo. Services such as Email and possibly Kik. I am aware that Telegram strips the exim info when you send media, and I've tested Kik with mixed results. Sometimes it sent the exif, sometimes it didn't.

If it's a nude or not, if your gps info is being sent at all to a stranger, that is a serious danger.

Kik is sketchy af. I always use snapchat, probably since I was late 13. I send nudes pretty regularly: maybe every other day. You won't have any problems as long as you don't send a full pic of your face+your junk.
