I am almost 21 years old and I figured that by this point in time I would have slowed down on how much I masturbate. I have been jerking off about twice a day and I need to slow down, but I am finding it very hard to quit. I was wondering if any of you guys have a solution to stop making yourself jerk off so much. Also is it unhealthy to jerk as much as I do, I mean shouldn't I give them more time to reload?

Twice a day is not much. I would suggest
find a hobby or work off energy in a gym.
One solution would b to find a girlfriend.

i feel you on that. I'm younger but i jo at least once a day usually twice. I still find myself jo 4 or more times a day when im alone and have nothing to do. Its def healthy to do still. also, be proud that you have such a good sex drive. Dont fix what aint broke!

have to keep yourself occupied and put yourself in situations places more often where you do not have the option to jack off. a lot of it is just self-discipline, though I know how hard it is too control this stuff

Why did you figure you'd be slowing down by your current age?
I know I've pretty much moved to doing it twice most days, but why would I want to cut back if I'm enjoying it so much?
So, WHY do you want to cut back?

It's not unhealthy to masturbate or orgasm that much, and there aren't any concerns for your wellbeing. The main reason someone would need to cut back is if it were affecting your ability to live life like a normal person. It your libido cuts into your other activities, like relationships or job, then it becomes a problem. Just try to stay busy, exercising can help, going for a run or doing some pushups and the like. Alternatively, you can take a few extra shifts at work if you enjoy your job, or you can find a group of people with similar interests, like a sports team. If you still need to slow down on your masturbation, the main thing is to find a way to just get out of your own head, and focus on other things. Hope that helps.

Pretty healthy to masturbate but moderation is also key so just controlling yourself would be the best!

There was another thread here about sexual peak. I think when we think of a peak we imagine something symetrical but I think with libido it's not like that at all - the climb to the peak is pretty quick during puberty and the decline is very slow and gradual as that decline basically takes the rest of your life so I reckon it is much too soon to expect not to be so horny anymore.

If people do j/o less as they get older it is likely a combination of less opportunity, for example working rather than school, or because it's no longer their only sexual outlet.

So, I don't think there is anything unhealthy about doing it twice a day. There is no need to let it build up until you are frustrated - enjoy yourself.

Maybe this is an adult thing and he would like to behave more according to his age or something like that.

Totally agree!
