I agree with this.

I usually go trimmed but that's because I just keep it like that.

The gyno won't really care if you're shaved or not, he/she has probably seen hundreds of women shaved, unshaved, trimmed, etc.

I've always shaved completely regardless of doctor's appointments. They see all different kinds of people and it's part of the job so who cares.
And my first gyno was when I was 13 if I remember correctly.

If you shave because you normally shave that's one thing... but shaving especially for the gyno sounds a bit strange...
