I do think it means your soft state is closer to the erect state than for a grower.

It's all down to how much blood, and what blood pressure, is in your penis. Erect is one end of the scale where the erectile tissue is fully filled and the blood is under pressure. The other end of the scale is not "soft" but shrivelled up, like if you've been in freezing cold water, where you body has diverted all the blood to the core to preserve heat and left and an absolute minimum in your penis.

So the usual soft state is somewhere between the two with a medium level of blood in your penis. That means it can vary for the same person according to temperature and what you're doing (see the recent thread on running) and between people. Showers will, on average, have more blood in their penises when soft that growers probably to the point is is just about full but not yet so full as to start building up pressure, i.e. that's why it is not erect.

Even when your soft 10", and hard 15", you're still considered a grower.. When you barely grow any bigger when hard, then you're a shower

This is exactly the way to explain it. One of my friends in the swim showers look so big at 4 1/2 inches, but he only goes to 5 1/2 hard. (he is a "shower") My little 1 1/2 incher soft grows to 5 7/8 hard, but I am actually bigger than him hard. (I'm a "grower"). He sure fills out a speedo better than me.

It's different for everyone, but it usually always gets bigger, just for some it doesn't get as much bigger. Like someone might gain 100% and someone else might gain 10%.

I reckon its more fun being a grower. I love how mine doubles in size from soft to hard. I got 1 mate hates being a shower coz he only gains 1" when he gets hard n mine doubles haha:D

Not exactly, being a shower just means your penis is close to the same length when soft as when you're hard. A shower's penis will usually grow at least a little bit when erect.
