I'm Catharine, and I'm a 16 year old girl who likes to write. Looking forward to getting to know you all.
I don't go to school anymore; after dropping out of high school for mental health related reasons, I took a course at my local university and since have been spending my time on personal writing projects. I plan on entering college as a full-fledged student next year, after which I'll likely explore the world in as dangerous a manner as possible.
I mostly write short stories, but I'm working on a full-length novel and have a penchant for poetry. My greatest inspirations are H. P. Lovecraft (hence the username,) Orson Scott Card and Haruki Murakami as far as writing style goes.
I'm on prescription drugs 24/7 and non-prescription drugs when it suits me.
I'm more of a hedonist than a nihilist.
I'm an only child. I spend half my time at my father's apartment and the other half at my boyfriend's. Planning on getting my own place soon.
I collect tea and tea paraphernalia.
I like talking to pretty much anyone and I'm more of a listener than a talker.
I listen to black metal, older rock, punk, industrial, classical, and pretty much anything else that suits me. Carach Angren/David Bowie/Lou Reed/Burzum are my holy, er, quadrality at the moment.
I also tend to ramble. If you read through all of this I appreciate it. If not, I don't blame you. TL;DR hello!
