New Death Note

If you don't already know, Netflix is making their own version of Death Note. And it looks very, very, VERY unappealing coming from a huge fan of Death Note. I personally think the anime was just perfect and there's no reason for Netflix to recreate it. Not to mention the complete whitewashing of the cast - I mean, come on. Light TURNER? All the cool last names in the world and you pick Turner (NO OFFENSE TO PEOPLE WITH THAT LAST NAME). But also, death note takes place in Japan, and they're all Japanese. You can't just take the story and have it take place in America just so you can whitewash it :mad:

I mean that's pretty spot on. Is there gonna be an Americanized version of Ryuk and other Shinigami, because that would blow!!
