This is something I've always wondered about me. I was born 3 months premature...I don't actually know why though (apparently, I was making my mother sick somehow...which certainly doesn't help my self-image). I was literally the size of a barbie doll. So, being this small at birth, could it have affected how tall I'll get, because I know I'm still getting taller if my friend is correct (it's just happening slowly, like always. Which makes me kinda annoyed and self-conscious about myself...I'm getting off on a tangent), anyways, what do you think?

Hey..umm well idk about you but my dad was 8 wks early and weighed 3lbs. He now stands 6'6" tall. My brother and his twin sister were 7 wks early and now at 16 he's 6' and she's 5'7" not sure if this will help you..I hope it does

I think that would be a good question for your doctor. I believe that they could give you the best scientific answer.

Without knowing your medical history, there's no way to be sure. Medically now premature babies can spend the first few months in hospital, and for the first couple of years are obviously behind in their growth (ie at 9 months only looking 6 months). After a couple of years, that is not an issue. However there are risks of complications of being early.
