I have a crush on this girl, there is a problem that I just have been trying to deal with but I just CAN'T . She is a 6th grader who is just as sweet as can be. I am a 9th grader. I am 3 1/2 years older than she is. I am entranced by her, She fills my mind all of the time and I want it to stop, but when I try to stop thinking about her it just makes me depressed and I start thinking about her more. I do not think about her sexually, her physical features are not why I am attracted to her if you are wondering. When I first met her I thought she was older, I thought 8th grade, she is tall, and mature enough to be thought of as an 8th grader. I had a crush on her then, just before I was planning on actually talking to her, Luckily for me I found out she is in 6th grade. I am just glad I found that out before I made a move. What do you guys think I should do to get over her, and what you think about the whole aspect of me crushing on her in the first place. Thank You

I know how you feel. I'm in 10th grade and I have a crush on a girl in 7th grade. You could try to take your mind off her by doing something you enjoy doing.

You must know, Harder to get over than you would think. I read that you are just attracted to some people and you cannot help it. Like, Her family and I share the same religion, she is very nice, and she is very calm. There is more good things I like about her, but that is the main basis of it.

Seems like there's a BIT of an age gap there, but think, if you feel the same way in a couple years, things could go great. In the meantime, it's a serious bummer, but you could still try being friends.

That's really the only way I know how to deal with people I like but can't be with. I befriend them, and try to keep things on a friend basis.

It really doesn't matter on the age, it's the maturity of the person which matters. When you're in school/Uni though, people find it weird when you go more than 2 years. I guess if you don't mind people finding you weird, go for it. (Or you can wait it out.)
