Cousin's Nudity in House

I was visiting my cousin a few weeks ago and he is 13. I was downstairs sitting on the couch and talking to my aunt and my female cousin who is my age at 15 when suddenly my male cousin walks in the room totally starkers, not a stitch of clothes on and asks his mom where his clean boxers are cause there are none in his dresser. He walked in with not a care in the world and he had just this year started getting pubic hair down there. I was shocked he didnt care his sister was there or his mom because when I started puberty and getting hair I become more self conscious and did not want mom or my sisters to see me in the raw. How do yall feel about that with other family and freinds over would you walk around naked and not be bothered?

He was the only one naked but if it was me I woulda wrapped a towel around me and come down and ask and not be so naked so everyone could see my junk. I stopped doing that when I was like 10 or 11.

I definitely wouldn't do that with other people over, but I'm completely comfortable being naked around my sister and my parents. There's nothing sexual about it, everyone knows what the human body looks like so why be ashamed?

This is NOT normal. It's not even, imo, a polite thing to do even if HE'S comfortable with nudity. His mom didn't say anything? Like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING COMING IN HERE NAKED??? YOUR COUSIN IS HERE!!!"

I'm wondering if maybe something is "wrong" with him. And I say that respectfully, but I mean something like some Autism, where he just doesn't understand that, socially, this is not something polite people do?
(We have an Autistic boy in my grade, and he just doesn't seem to understand normal social skills and interactions. A big story in school last year was that he raised his hand in class and asked the teacher if he could go to the boy's room because, "my prick is hard and I think I gotta go piss".)

I've been in that situation but I'm the younger and my cousin is 3 y older than me, I was around 12.
At that time I just don't want to thinking about sexual thing which my older cousin maybe thinking the opposite. He did ask me about that but I don't get it.

How can you say that it's not normal for that family? Because it isn't in yours it shouldn't be or can't be anywhere else?

I didn't see anything in the original post that mentioned either the mother or sister were upset or bothered by the boy's nudity. He was simply looking for clean underwear. It may be quite common, and acceptable, in their home to be nude in sight of family members, and cousins are family of which the OP is one.

Not everyone is comfortable enough with their own body to display it in a non typical setting, and that's fine, others are. The OP clearly wouldn't be comfortable in that situation as he did say in the post, but his cousin is.

Well when he came down he was totally soft and just walked up to where his mother was sitting and ask where some clean underwear were. She told him to go check in the laundry room in the basket that she had just folded several pair of his underwear. He then went to the laundry room and came out wearing some boxers. He said thanks and went upstairs and put on a t shirt and some shorts and came back down.

I'll admit I was not reading/understanding it correctly. He came in naked when he thought only his MOM AND SISTER were there. I'd consider that okay. (I was thinking neighbors, friends, etc. were there, not just his immediate family.)

I have been naked around my parents and its no big deal with us, and I have been naked around some of my friends and cousins here at home, but if its someone who is not accustomed to the nudity in my house, then we cover ourselves appropriately.
I dont see anything wrong with what your cousin did, apparently he is very comfortable with his body and has no inhibitions about being seen in the nude. And if his mother and sister didnt say anything, then that shows they are, too. No big deal, really.

Some family`s grow up not being shy about nudity around each other And its no big deal because there just so comfortable about it.. As they get older there more reserved and dont do it any more.... Sounds like he was still young enough and it was no bid deal.... Maybe he diden`t know you were in the house when he walked in naked...

Well when he walked in the room naked he said hi to me and continued to his mom asking if she knew where some clean underwear was. He didnt give it a second thought I was in the room or his mom and sister and made no attempt to cover up. Of course he was soft and I think he probably wasnt embarrassed or didnt care if family saw him naked. I had seen him naked before so I guess he thought it was not a big deal.

I wouldn't mind being that open if I had a huge dick. Since I don't, I don't do that. I am the opposite. I will see my sisters and even my mom naked occasionally getting dressed but not walking around and watching tv or w/e. So is your aunt your mom's sister or your dad's? It's weird that they are siblings but one raised their kids modest (or normal atleast) and the other nudists (or open to nudity atleast).
