Guys very a lot in how much precum they produce. I don't get that much - I have to have been aroused for quite some time before it appears. Other guys start leaking copiously much earlier.

The "pre" in precum meaning "before" means "before you cum in any one session", not "a development stage before".

For me, I'm gonna say my pre-cum is more related to what's going on in my HEAD than what's going on in my DICK.
With spontaneous erections or morning wood, I don't think I ever produce any pre-cum. When I'm just bored and want to wank, and I have to play with my dick to make it get hard first, I don't get pre-cum then, either.
