Senior prom is coming up and I think I have determined who I want to ask, but the problem is, we don't really get to see each other in school that much. The only time we do is randomly in the halls, but we do talk outside of school on social media and what-not, so my question is, would it be okay to ask her via text message? Or is it necessary to devise one of those prom-posals? I've heard some girls say they wouldn't want one but I don't know how many others feel the same way. Thanks for any help! :whoops:

It really depends on the girl whether she is okay with being asked via text.
I have never asked anyone things like that via a text message.
So if you wanna go to prom with that person I would say you should take the time to find a way to talk this girl face to face. If she isn't worth this effort for you why having her as a prominent date anyway?

Well search her out at school or outside
of school and ask her. If u don't connect
then ask her in text if she is making plans
for prom and then propose. U better make
it fast cause there is a lot of things to do
before prom and it will come fast. I have
the same prob right now.

Guys tell me that a girl accepting to go to prom with you pretty much means she's agreeing to seriously make out with you (if not even having sex with you) after prom. Is that pretty much true? (I'm still at least a year away from prom. I'm just 9th grade, but I'm really curious if this is pretty much what is expected or what actually happens.)

Sounds like BS to me, that would probably only apply for people that are already in a relationship with each other. Even then I think its more just an event to enjoy dancing with one another for a few hours and associate with your friends.
