No. I don't truly mean it like this, I wasn't thinking too well when I wrote it but surely they shouldn't do this to you if you get into trouble. I understand what you're saying, but it's not your fault that your parents don't understand that you're not a little child anymore and don't deserve that kind of punishment, especially in front of other people. I guess you can try talking with them about the problem, but it probably won't work because... you know, some parents are just like that, they do what they want. I still keep my last advice, try to stay out of trouble. I doubt that spanking started out as being sexual, as it's kind of a 'kink' to begin with. Kind of goes hand in hand with the BDSM stuff, just milder.

I'm going to assume that smacking and spanking are the same thing. But yeah, there is an anti-smacking law which came into effect in 2009 here in New Zealand. You aren't allowed to correct a child using physical force. You can however use physical force on child if you are acting with good intentions such as stopping a kid from touching a hot stove or something else dangerous. The last time I probably got smacked was when I was 5, maybe 6, but I shouldn't expect it to happen again.

I never got whipped bare bottom unless i did something horrible, and that was with a belt. The switch was reserved for my bare legs or when i had ball shorts on. And yes, it would sometimes leave welts and small cuts on my legs. The last time i was whipped was when i was 12. Now its no computer, TV, or driving.

It's effective for me. If I get one they always lecture about what went wrong and how to fix it and then the spanking is a reminder or something to think about.
