I'm not really one to complain, but I think I have the absolute worst teachers this year. There's only one teacher who I like this year, and that's my English teacher. My Digital Multimedia teacher is the worst. She shouldn't even qualify to be a teacher. I've been working on this website in school using this book, following every direction. She's always up my ass telling me that I'm not doing it right. Every time I try to fix it, something goes wrong. When I tell her to check my work, she says, "You did absolutely nothing since I last checked it!" First of all, she says it in a very rude tone and she doesn't help me. I get very pissed off when she says I don't do anything because I do something! Apparently I'm just not doing it correctly. I feel like I want to scream, "Correction! I did do something, just not correctly!" It makes me so mad how she says I can't do anything right because I'm an autistic reject. I can't wait until I can drop out in June. This dumb vo-tech class thing is from 8:00 AM to 10:40 AM. I can't imagine being stuck in this class all day. Sometimes my teacher says things that make me want to cry. I also have a horrible grade in this class. I can't blow it off this year either because it's worth four credits! I need help surviving three months with this bitchy teacher. This is why I dread school in the morning. I'll happily go to my regular school full time instead of this half day crap with the morning session career school. This teacher also called me retarded to my face. Thanks for any help.

Is there somebody who you can talk to at the school like a guidance counselor or somebody like that? If they are saying that stuff to your really needs to be reported. They could get you a new teacher or transferred into another class. Just keep your head up and know it isn't forever and all of us here will be here when you need to vent to us ;)

I already tried to drop out in October, but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to do so. I can definitely drop this class at the end of the year. I just didn't sign up for it when I made my schedule.

Sigh... Bad teachers rant, I can relate bro... (/sis)
This year is my worst year at high school so far,
I only have 3 out of like 20 teachers that I don't hate xD

I mean , well, I don't relaly hate them,
but half my class is smarter than them,
so I don't see how they are qualified to teach.

Sigh...

I would consider talking to your parents or another teacher about this. If what you say is accurate, this person has committed some serious professional misconduct. Calling a student a slur to their face could be considered grounds for termination of a teacher's contract. As an education major I can tell you this, you should not internalize the blame for what has happened in this class. It is the teacher and the system that have failed you. You are not a failure. Some people should not be teachers.

My dad knows and he's angry that the teacher would do that. She also gives me easier work because she doesn't think I'm capable of what the normal kids do.
Thanks everyone!

Yeah, she is a terrible teacher without saying, but it's great you don't have to put up with her now you've been transferred :)

I know how you feel. My physics teacher is a godawful, abusive guy. My CA teacher, while extremely kind, grades harder than anyone else.

Thanks for the comments! She was really aggravating me; I'm glad I got rid of her.

Up until last year I was always in special schools developmentally disabled and autistic kids. And I have to say that teachers in the public school system are really hard for me to deal with. Some are still special ed, so not as bad. But with the others it is really difficult and they act so impatient, especially with my speech problems and having to text stuff out on my phone for them to read. They are just, harsher is the word that come to mind.

Have you communicate with your teacher in how to improve your performance ?

I never thought about it, but I wouldn't want to with her unnecessary and sarcastic remarks.

Some teachers are there to punch in and punch out, shame really. Only advice I can give you is to be vocal with someone and try to put some pressure on the teacher to change her ways.
