So I'm 13, I have had armpit hair since 11. My armpit hair is jet black, and it covers my entire underarm. I'm not comfortable swimming or taking my shirt off or anything. I don't want to shave. What can I do so I feel comfortable swimming again

I have armpit hair too now. We all get it eventually. If you don't want to shave there, enjoy having them. It's natural to have them

I was and pretty much still am the same way. I got it at around 13 or 14 and wouldn't take my shirt off because of it. If you don't want to shave it, the best you could do pretty much is to either take it off anyway and live it down, or buy a swim shirt and wear that, that's what I do.

My advice would be, why do you think anybody cares that you already have armpit hair? They don't and they won't.

I know I was at first upset when I was 12 and getting pubic hair around my dick. "Why does hair have to grow...DOWN THERE?!?" I didn't want to have to change in any public place, like waterparks, because of it. But it was just because it was new for ME to have hair there. Nobody else cared cuz it was natural.

Y don't u just trim them a bit. I was
self conscious too when I first got mine
but I wanted to look clean so I had my
friend clip clip. U shouldn't let it bother
u cause pit hair is manly but if u have
too much-trim it neat.

I'm pretty sure no one will care if you have armpit hair. I personally started getting some only half a year ago, so it's not that noticeable

Dude I have the opposite problem! I only have a little, even though I'm 18. My advice would be either to just take your shirt off around a few close friends until you get used to it (yes they might make comments, but soon they'll forget about it), or buy a swim shirt.

I agree with what some others have said. Just trim it down some so it's not as noticeable. And who cares if people see your pit hair? Do you notice it on other guys and men? Does it bother you to see it on others at all? I wouldn't think so, it's pretty natural.

if you don't like the hair and u don't want to shave it all off, then you could use scissors to trim it down. i personally swim with a swim shirt on too. Whatever works for you!

I don't have much armpit hair and I usually shave them a couple of times a week. I like being smooth.

I have pretty hairy pits. I remember being self-conscious about it when I was about your age. But I got over it pretty fast. I suspect you will, too.

I don't have any but won't care when they do grow. Boys get them

I don't think you should worry, it means you're a man, but you could just trim it a little bit with scissors if you don't want to shave.

I know lots of people like how pit hair looks. I think they're hot on guys. Does anyone tease you about them?

accept it, everyone has or will have armpit hair and its not like you have a vulgar tattoo that everyone will stare and shake their heads at, chances are it will go unnoticed.

Embrace it, bc the only other option is shaving and if you don't want to, maybe trim but every has it and just own it, its natural

I honestly prefer more of it on myself and guys I like. It just looks more masculine.

I still don’t have armpit hair and am going through puberty

I have the opposite problem. No sign of any pit hair, just started pubes. I am embarrassed swimming or taking my shirt off because other guys are getting pit hair and I have none at all.
