Calling a ex your brother or sister

Hey guys do you think it's weird that I think of my ex as my sister? Well here's my back story

well I know this girl who I been close to for years and she is 20 now (and I'm 17)and we dated back in 2010 but things didn't work that well back then. We lost contact for a while because her boyfriend she had at the time didn't like us talking so we lost contact for a while last December 2013 she re added me on Facebook and told me It didn't work out between them because he was controlling her life and taken her friends away and so on. So she found a new bf that lets her talk to her friends!

Well recently I started calling her my sister because she is so close to me and I don't ever want to lose her friendship again do any of you people do this to?

I think of my ex fiance as a good friend, sort of like a brother. He's there for me, he's been my friend all along, and we were best friends even before we dated. I don't think it's weird at all. :)

I don't think that's weird ... my first girlfriend ( and now ex) is like a sister for me, too...I don't call her that but she calls me lil bro sometimes.

Not weird at all. I have a friend who is best of friends with their ex. So not exactly like a brother to her but they are much closer friends than they were as bf/gf (except the kissing and stuff obv). So it is not unheard of to have really close relationships with your ex's. Just think yourself lucky you canm still have that friendship!!
