Bad Major Choice?

I'm getting ready to apply to colleges next year and have been trying to find what I want to major in. After visiting a couple schools I became interested in Marketing and Communications (for public relations). I'm planning or either double majoring or major/minoring. Are either of the two fields actually worth it? Like is it a bad choice to go into a career / get a degree in either of those two fields?

There is no such thing as a bad major if it's what you're interested in. You should keep your mind and your options open.

However, it is worth noting that many freshmen are undecided. You do not have to declare your major right away, and if you are unsure I would advise that you wait to do so. Take a couple classes in the department you're thinking of majoring in and see how you like it. Your freshman year will mostly consist of general education classes anyway.

If it's what you wanna do, do it .
Otherwise just look at the other options and what jobs they offer
