I'm ready to have sex with someone that wants to do it bareback. Can you get an STD from doing it the first time?

Yes. If it's both if your first times then you're probably good. But make sure you and your partner are safe before doing anything unprotected.

You can get an STD at any time - not just the first time - without using protection. I would make sure that they don't have any STDs and if they're female that she has a different contraceptive method like the pill so you don't risk getting her pregnant.

Better safe than sorry: STD, pregnant. Bareback should be reserved for committed relationships.

Yeah dude, you can get an std at anytime, even your first time. Even if its the first time doing anything for both of you, you should ensure that you both have a clean bill of helath before you proceed. Bareback is nice and feels good, but I would save it for a committed relationship and not a fwb kind of thing.

Recommended to save it for a committed relationship. And if it's your first time, don't do it just to be safe you know? There's a lot you can't anticipate.

While emotionally, it being the first time may be significant, when it comes to transmission of infection, there is no difference. What make a difference is the type of sex, whether you use a condom, and whether the person you have sex with has anything to transmit.

If you have to ask this question, you're not ready, IMO.

You're 15, same as I am, and you're ready to have sex for the first time and the GIRL wants you to do it bareback?? Woah!! Is she older and more, uh, "experienced" than you. (And by experience, I mean some to many other dick have been in there before you???) Is she on birth control?
Dude, I'd still wear a bag. Unless it's her first time, too, and it like her "day #27" in her cycle. (BTW, I've never had sex yet.)

You can even get STDs withOUT having sex. Not trying to scare you though.
My general rule: if unsure in the slightest way, use protection.
If the other person is pushing you into having unprotected sex, think twice, three, four, five times before saying Yes.

You can get an STD from the 1st time you have sex unprotected or the 1,000th. In my honest opinion, this person is someone that you have been dating for a bit and both of you, especially if you have had previous sexual partners, should consider getting tested for STDs.
