Getting used to showering with others. Showering with adults?

Anyone shower at a gym with adults? Anybody who still hasn't started puberty very much so like no hair and still pretty small dick? My mom got me a membership that was like free cuz she is poor ☹ and I will start working out there after wrestling ends in a month. And I was thinking that maybe I could shower there and get used to showering in front of people. At school after sports I have been showering in underwear or shorts since I am too embarrassed to have others see my junk. I am worried about boning up plus just not wanting others to see that I am likely the smallest guy in school (including 7th graders ☹). I am thinking showering with complete strangers might help??? But then it might be weird to shower with old dudes too???? At my school it's ok to shower naked or not and not be made fun of. I wouldn't mind showering naked at school at some point. As long as I don't bone up and as long as I'm not like the smallest guy in school or even my grade!

It really ain't a big deal showering naked round other boys. Nude showers are required at our school. No-one will tease you. Everyone will pop wood occasionally and we all have the same parts.

Strangers yeah but then if you get hard around adults or your just the only teen there you will really get noticed. So that's the risk. Then again you could just run out of there and never go back

very first time. Once u do it several times u will

I'm a swimmer so I've been around plenty of locker rooms both at school as well as at my swim club. I'm probably one of the "smallest" on my team and I shave my pubic hair by choice. Being naked around others my age isn't that big of a deal for me, probably because I know most of them. I have to admit that at the swim club it's a little more uncomfortable because the shower is shared with older boys and adult men. I just try to ignore them and if they are looking at me I just smile and go on about my business. Your confidence will build in time!

You'll be fine showering at the gym then at school. You well get a boner once and a while but youll see other boys teens and adults once and a while too. Youll get use to showering nude at the gym so less likly to get a boner at school showers. But dont freak out when it happens it happens to ALL guys.. Bikini boy said it good

In terms of adults at the gym, they shouldn't bother (unless they some perv!). We all get boners in these places too, it happens. For the most part, other boys are OK too, it just that at school, we are all growing and all curious. Some are just bigger and just want to show off. To me the general fear is that one show off picks on you so they all do. If you show that you're nervous, people will say something. If someone does, just answer back, and call them gay or a perv for looking!

Showering naked in pe is normal at school. So there it's no big deal. I also have showered around my adult relatives like my dad, uncles, and older cousins. But showering in a public shower around adults strangers is a little uncomfortable. But I have done it on several occasions.

I know I should be confident. People say I am confident but i am not. Atleast they think I am. I am especially not confident in my junk. Atleast you know how I feel! But you didn't say that you are THE smallest on your team. I bet I am. And atleast you HAVE pubes that you can shave. I guess I could say that I shave mine but nobody would believe me after they see my dick and nobody here shaves anyway so that would be weird to say or do.

I think if we HAD to shower naked like some schools make you I guess then that wouldn't be as bad. I mean I would still be embarrassed but I would have no choice. I want to shower naked the guys that do are always laughing and talking. We do too but not as much. My teams are like 50/50. Some do it naked and others are like me in their underwear or shorts. I suppose it's possible the others in underwear are also small like me tho.

As for showering at the gym, make sure you do it naked as like I said, the wearing of the underwear in my opinion won't help your self confidence at all and at the gym, no one gives a hoot about what you look like naked. It's all business there. I shower after baseball practice and we practice at an american university and there are men in the showers all the time while we are in there. No one says a darn thing. My team is a 2003 team so we are all 13 with a few boys who have turned 14 already.

Well it might be easier to shower with complete strangers and adults, because they won't make any comments. If you're feeling really comfortable with your classmates and know that they would do such thing as laughing at you, do it in school.

Yeah...I have started puberty...but am really small...17 y.o. and 1" soft here. I only showered around adults a few times before, it's way better than showering around my teammates, lol. Adults don't look or say anything, I don't think they really care especially if you're at a gym where it's normal to shower naked (like the ymca). I dont think you have a lot to worry about there

i alwas shower naked at gym, i dont mind ppl watch me and my penis... i am not shy for it. u should not worry if u r shy or change in towel or toilet u will get more attention to yourself and ppl will look cuz they think u r funny.

Like others have said, I would just bite the bullet and shower naked since that is something that you seem like you want to do even tho you are afraid. I mean it's cool that your school lets you shower with shorts on and the guys don't tease you. I have gone to schools where guys would tease guys who showered with shorts on. I've gotten more used to naked showers around people. was embarrassed for a while in the school showers when we started having to take them. but before that i was used to showering with dad and brothers at the pool and there were always older guys and adults in there too, also i would sometimes shower with my dad till i was 9 or so and it never bothered me

Well I'm not the only one who showers with underwear on so I'm not worried. I would never be the only one who did that. That would totally draw attention and laughs. Like I said I do in a post I do have confidence issues but nobody would know how I act in class or practice. My confidence about size is a whole other thing. Ya I can totally see myself showering at the gym with adults. Like you said it's all business there. I agree. At school it's half business but mostly joking. Only worry about showering at the adult gym is boning up!

That's what I fear. Friends talking. Not TRYING to make me feel bad but just joking like boys do. Then that laughing would draw attention to everyone looking and laughing.

Ive been friends with them for years so I just laugh about it now, besides I'm taller than them, so I still have that going for me, lol. It definitely doesn't bother me at all the way that my brothers' teasing bothers me :| But that's another story. Back to the topic I think showering at a normal gym is okay and definitely much easier than with other teens!!

I'm taller than most people my age too! Idk that may be part of why I am self conscious of not starting puberty yet. But bc of my size and athleticism (and humor) I can stand up for myself. But just not if it's 30 guys vs me making fun of my dick bc those are bad odds and I really have no comeback about my sick size. I don't have a brother but really wouldn't want my sisters making fun of my size (or any girl for that matter) that's why I try not to let them see either. When I do shower naked I will definitely show swag no matter if I am still on the small side. No problem there. What you may not have read is that I still have ZERO pubes and I am 99% sure nobody is smaller than me. It's not just like I am on the small side. I'm actually the smallest! But you're right. As soon as I get some pubes (even not much) and grow a bit I won't be hiding. That's dumb like you said.

My Y is different. Everyone showers together. Just have to be 13 and over to use it alone. I imagine those men turn away fast! I'm sure they don't want to be called a pedo! I mean even in school showers when I see guys who do shower naked I try not to get caught staring at a guys junk. That would be awkward af! My dad told me when he was a kid, at Scouts they'd ALL shower together. From the biggest, fattest hairiest Scoutmaster to the tiniest, baldest little 11 year old.

We got a family Y membership last year. Showering with my dad felt really awkward the first time. I'm used to being naked in the school locker room, but the Y is different. I was almost always the youngest guy there. But it doesn't bother me now.

I started showering at school in 6th grade and more than half of us were bald and then others were fully developed and by 7th grade it was like 70 with hair and 30 percent without and by 8th grade and 2-3 were still bald and by 9th everyone had hair down there and noone made fun of anyone.
