I couldn't really find anywhere else to post this (maybe I didn't look hard enough :P ). Also sorry for the amount of threads I have posted throughout these days, I have had a lot of questions!
Anyway, the opening of my penis (the urethra hole) has looked to become inflamed and is red. The only part not red is just a fraction of the upper part of the hole which is covered by my foreskin (and which has probably make my piss slit higher). When peeing, it burns at the start, and I haven't had any sexual activity. My hunch is that it could be down to underwear irritation but searches online say yeast infections?? What do you guys think? Does anybody else experience this?

It could b a yeast infection or a start of
a urinary infection especially with the
burning. If it continues I would c a doctor.

Have you been masturbating? Sometimes too much friction from that can cause redness on your penis, which I've got once. I think def if it's burning you should go to the doctor.

I don't masturbate but last night I ran my fingers over the head of my dick because I was incredibly horny and slept only in shorts ( no underwear) with annoying erection which constantly rubbed against the fabric. Could chafing been the cause of the red inflammation of my urethra opening?

Yeah chafing can. But if it continues I'd see a doctor.

I think the burning is of much more concern than the redness. Like many others have said, see a doctor if this continues.

It could be the beginnings of thrush (a yeast infection) by the sounds of it, as I had something similar. You can pick cream up for that from the pharmacy or, if you'd prefer to see a doctor, they will give you a prescription for it. If that doesn't clear it up then I'd say definitely go and speak to them, but maybe try this first (or just chat to the pharmacist, they'll probably know).

Sounds like an urinary tract infection. Check out this site for how to treat it. http://www.everydayhealth.com/urinary-tract-infections/helpful-home-remedies-for-urinary-tract-infections.aspx

So guys, it the burning pains seems to have pretty much gone away (just the slightest tinge at the start of my pee and then goes away) and when I searched it up, on most sites it said the burning was more of a scalding feeling whereas that only happened once to me and now it has subsided. It still remains red though so I think you're right jam98, it might be a yeast infection. Of course I will see a doctor soon, but I'll wait it out for a few days and see whether it has been chafing and it will go away or if it actually is serious.

Given you say the affected part is the part not covered by your foreskin and the unaffacted part was the covered part that does make contact with your underwear a possible explanation. Apart from chaffing it might be an allergic reaction to the fabric or to residual washing detergent particularly if it is biological washing detergent.
